My AIM is off...

ARGH!!! So I get a phone call this evening from somebody who's very near and dear to me. They bring up the fact that they've tried instant messaging me all day and that I've been logged on all day on AOL Instant Messenger but that I'm not writing back!

At first I'm thinking, no way! Huh uh. The service went dead on me earlier when I was messing around with it at work and now it's not even letting me log on. Oh no, I'm told. I'm most definitely still online. Aaaaaaargh!!

So, if any of my coworkers, friends or family have tried sending me an instant message via AIM, let me just preemptively inform you that my AIM is down right now. Please use e-mail!
