Weekend Horoscopes

11/23/2003 - Go against the grain. A shift needs to happen among those around you.
Against the grain, you say? It doesn't get more against the grain than waking up early on a weekend and going skiing for the first time since breaking one's thigh bone (or my right femur for those of you keeping score). The shift? Well, I'm thinking that my family and friends are just going to have to deal with the fact that I love being on the mountain and that I'm really at peace with myself when I'm up there. On the plus side, it can be one hell of a workout (and that's against the grain too)!

11/22/2003 - If you don't put down your anchor, your boat will surely drift.
WHAT??!? I have a boat? Must have missed that memo. Oh wait. I know! They are referring to my purpose in life as the boat. I see. It's a metaphor. Now... What can I use for an anchor? Hmm... More importantly, is there a safe harbor yet or am I still out to sea en route to my destination/destiny?

11/21/2003 - Your planning is paying off but opposition is strong. Hang in there.
Waaait a cotton-picking second. This sounds familiar. Almost like a case of deja vu.
