Computer Woes

Dang it... I hate it when this happens. You're just cruising along, everything's fine and then BAM! Your computer is woefully underpowered to handle the things that you need it to.

So, it looks like I'll be building a new computer for myself pretty soon. The goal will be to keep it under $2K but to make it capable enough to handle anything I'll throw at it over the next two or three years.

As much as I'd love to drop $6K on a high-end graphics workstation, I don't think that that would be a good use of my money...
