It's Nice To Be Back

Well, today marks yet another Valentine's Day flying solo. Is that such a bad thing? I always used to joke around that today was a great day to hit the bar scene and pick up on the ladies who were sitting there crying into their cosmos. :o)

It's good to be back and to get back into the swing of things. I discovered that I'm not just a cog in the machine but an integral part of a team. I also learned that there's no "I" in team but there IS a "me"; if you rearrange the letters.

Today I got some DVDs from my insurance company to replace the ones which had been stolen from the house just before Christmas. The good news: they're still coming in. The bad news: not all of them match up to what I had before. Specifically, they sent me some DVDs that were full-screen instead of being widescreen. Oh, the humanity!!

Seriously though, I paid for replacement insurance and they should replace it with the equivalent of what I had, right? Please tell me that somebody out there agrees with me on that one...
