Dear Mayor

Dear Mayor;
I'd like to point out a couple of things...
First, daylight saving time did not end last weekend. It ends this weekend. The fact that parking meters in our city were not patched should be cause for concern. Unpatched devices and IT servers can result in a number of transactions being incorrectly calculated. I don't want to find out later that a couple thousand dollars of IT labor in patching systems was saved but it cost us hundred of thousands of dollars in lost productivity and salary overpayments to public workers.
Second, I hear that there are revenue losses because the city has moved to automated parking meters that take credit cards. I think that that's a good thing! The fact that the city depends upon parking ticket revenue is reprehensible! Not only is it too unreliable a revenue source but it can cause agents to falsify tickets in an attempt to maintain a quota.
Finally, what are we doing about the lack of parking in the city?
