Taking A Look Back...

Somebody said something interesting to me the other day and it has stuck with me... Basically, it amounted to the question of living life to its fullest.

When our time is up, will we be able to look back and say that we did everything we could have? Will we have more happy memories than regrets? Will we be able to look back with satisfaction or will we beg for another chance?

I've preferred to live my life as each and every day could be my last. The way I see things, the past 12 years have been on borrowed time anyway. Do I have some misgivings over my past? Sure. Mistakes have been made but I would like to think that I've learned from them. Some things people consider mistakes I look back upon fondly and say that I wouldn't have done it any differently.

Really, I wish I knew why I get this way some times... I suppose it could be the change of seasons.
