The Rush For Judgement


In the current rush of right-wing talk radio and Fox News to cast doubt on former Vice-President Al Gore sharing the Nobel Peace Prize for his work on increasing awareness of global warming... Perhaps these same talking heads should listen to the science; the root cause is in question, of that there is no debate.
Humans may (or may not) be the cause or a contributor to global warming. However, that does not mitigate the fact that a significant shift in the Earth's ecology represents a clearer and more present danger to our way of life. We have a responsibility to manage the environment as the precious natural resource it is to ensure that when we are gone that there is a world worth leaving for those who come after us...

Global Warming


The truth is out there... The Earth is getting warmer, I don't think that anybody is going to argue that since planet wide ecology changes cyclically. The only real question is what impact humans have on the environment.
Regardless, I feel that the key here is for us to act as good stewards of our planet since it's the only home we have at this point in time.
