24 - Season Finale

Season 6 is finally over... It actually wasn't all bad but I certainly miss the quality and drama in season 4.

Will I buy season 6 on DVD? Yes but only to ensure that my DVD collection is complete.

Heroes - Season Finale

Ugh... 22 episodes and the ending provided is all they have to show for it? I had thought about making a big push to purchase the season 1 DVDs (when available) but I'm just not satisfied with how it ended. The entire season was entertaining and engaging until this episode which can be summed up in a single word: disappointing.

What's next? I'm going to find out that that moon landings were faked and that The A-Team wasn't a documentary!?

Paris Hilton Headed To Jail!

I can't think of a better subject for the 666th post of my blog than Paris Hilton! The justice system is appropriate in sending Paris to jail for 45 days for blatent disregard for the law. She violated her probation and was arrested while driving with a suspended license and intoxicated.

An online petition has been started asking for Governor Schwarzenegger to pardon her. Out of curiosity, does anybody know just how out of touch with reality is she?

Paris should go to jail, pay a fine and have to perform community service. I don't know her personally but her behavior and actions have been reprehensible.

It's time that common people show that we aren't going to take this kind of behavior from celebrities any more. What is to be gained from allowing this to continue? What kind of message does that give our children? What has she done for society?

Paris, it's time to pay the piper and accept some personal accountability. Do your time, learn a little humility and get on with your life just like everybody else would.

This show is awesome!! Hopefully it will be released on DVD soon after this season has concluded...

Spider-Man 3

I went to see Spider-Man 3 this afternoon. The theater was packed which leads me to believe that the movie will do well even though I thought that it was too busy, too frantic and glossed over a number of good plot and character elements that should have been expanded upon. All I can say is that I'm glad I didn't pay full price.
