The Power of Friendship

I heard from a friend recently and it was nice just to catch up. Often, I forget just how powerful the bonds can be that form between people. Often, I'm too busy focusing on the task at hand that I forget about the rest of the world around me.

I'm continually amazed at how everything in my life comes into play just when I need it to. Just when I needed a gentle reminder of what was really important in life, I get it.

Missing In Action

I wouldn't have thought it possible...

A couple of months ago, I posted an ad online on craigslist with the thought that at least I'd go out on a couple of dates, meet some new people and see what happened.

As it turns out, it was probably the best decision I've made in my personal life in a while as I've met some really nice people and ended up actually getting to know and involved with a really amazing woman.

The future, as always, isn't crystal clear but as far as I can see, I do look forward to whatever it brings my way.
